Netflix cancels “Marco Polo” after 2 seasons

Netflix has cancelled its original series “Marco Polo” after only two seasons.

“Marco Polo” follows the famed explorer (Lorenzo Richelmy) and his adventures in the court of Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong) in 13th century China and the expanding Mongol empire.

The first season premiered in 2014, with the second season being released earlier this year on July 1st.
