We have been teasing this for such a long time and poking the bear so, on this very special May the 4th episode, we have finally gathered to do a deep dive and break down the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
“This will be the final word in the story of Skywalker.” Released on 20 December 2019, “Star Wars: Episode XI – The Rise of Skywalker” marked the return of director JJ Abrams, and the signalled the official end of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga aka the episode films.
““I fear nothing. For all is as the Force wills it.” In 2012, Disney bought George Lucas’ Lucasfilm for $4 billion and ushered a new era of “Star Wars.” They quickly announced a continuation of the episodic films, supplemental films, and TV series, comics, books, and video games to complement them.
On May 25th, 1977, a little film called “Star Wars” was released in theatres, which makes it officially 40 years old today.

With rumours flying around the past week or so, Disney has announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be arriving on digital HD on April 1 and on blu-ray April 5th. Oh and they have a fancy trailer about it.
