Spike has released the first trailer for their upcoming documentary “I Am Heath Ledger” which focuses on the life of actor Heath Ledger who tragically passed away nine years ago.
Ledger had a prolific career starring in “Brokeback Mountain,” “The Dark Knight,” “The Patriot,” “The Brothers Grimm,” “A Knight’s Tale,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Lords of Dogtown,” “Ned Kelly,” “Monster’s Ball,” “The Four Feathers,” “Casanova,” “The Sin Eater,” and “Roar”.
The documentary comes from critically-acclaimed filmmaker Derik Murray and will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 23rd. It will have a limited theatrical run on May 3rd, followed by a TV premiere on May 17th on Spike, and finally a VOD release on May 23rd.
